The Russian Revolution Free Essays

a) From source A I can learn that the Tsar was incompetent and disorganised, as source A states â€Å"Nicholas II was very poorly prepared for the responsibilities of being the Tsar.†. I can also learn that due to the Tsars ignorance of politics and the people of Russia, he couldn’t make the right decisions to help the country. We will write a custom essay sample on The Russian Revolution or any similar topic only for you Order Now Source A suggests that Tsar Nicholas II wasn’t very popular, due to the fact he didn’t know how to run the country or help the people in need of financial and medical support (the lower classes and peasants). I can also suggest from Source A that the whole country was in disarray, that no-one was equal because Tsar Nicholas II didn’t know how to run the country or make the desperately needed decisions that would benefit the country as a whole. b) Source C and A support each other because both state that Tsar Nicholas II was unfit to reign Russia. They say that he was ignorant of the necessary knowledge required to rule the country, this ignorance was the key reason for his downfall. However they both differ slightly. Source C says that the fact Tsar Nicholas II was useless as a ruler was not his fault; he was apparently â€Å"intelligent, faithful and courageous† but was â€Å"wholly ignorant of government matters†. The source was taken out of the Tsars sisters’ diary, so she, no matter how bad things got with the Tsar, would still stick up for him. Whereas Source A is taken from a textbook written about Russia, therefore they need not show any compassion for the Tsar so they can write just the facts. Source C and B support each other because in source C the Tsars sister says that the Tsar â€Å"was still popular in the years before 1914† and in source B it shows a photograph of Tsar Nicholas II with is many supporters celebrating the 300 years of rule of the Romanov family, showing that he still had support when the picture was taken in 1913. Source C and B differ from each other because in Source C, the Tsar’s sister says that Nicholas wasn’t a good ruler of Russia, and that he was trained as a soldier not as a statesman. Yet in Source B, he is shown surrounded by his many supporters cheering him and his whole family. Surely if they didn’t like him then they wouldn’t be happy he was in power, (however, there are probably only the upper classes involved in the celebration as the Tsar hasn’t done anything to anger them whereas he didn’t treat the lower classes well at all.) Overall I think that that Source A and C support each other the most as both say that the Tsar was incompetent as a ruler of Russia, and differ from each other only very slightly. Furthermore I think that Source B and C differ from each other the most because in Source C the Tsar’s sister says that he wasn’t a very good ruler and in Source B he is being shown as a great ruler surrounded by his cheering supporters. c) I can learn from source D that the way Tsar dealed with those who opposed his way of ruling the country was with violence and death. As Source D shows strikers killed by the police. This Source is reliable because it is a photograph, and you can see the workers â€Å"dead† on the ground and police members standing round them. It could be a hoax, with people pretending to be dead, but is highly unlikely to be one. I can learn from Source E that the people felt that the government was not making the right choices, and that they were being forced into forming revolutionary groups by the government. This source’s reliability could be questioned as it was written by a party opposing the Tsar as a speech, so the aim of the speech was to turn people against the current Tsarist government and to support theirs. Also, as it was written as a speech its meant to persuade and motivate the listeners, so some aspects of it may have been exaggerated. Overall, I think that Source E is more useful in telling us how discontented the people were with the Tsarist government, as it’s more detailed in its explanation and shows human emotion on the situation. However, I believe that Source D is the more reliable of the two as, because it’s a photo, we can be sure the events captured on film actually happened. How to cite The Russian Revolution, Papers

Judith Dwyer (2003) â€Å"How communication works†, The business communication handbook 6th ed. Frenchs Forest, N. S. W. : Pearson Education,Pages: 3-20. Is an article in which the author states communication is defined as any verbal or non verbal act, witnessed by another. Information, feelings, or expressions are encoded and sent from a minimum of 1 person and received and decoded by again a minimum of 1 person with the message given meaning as the receiver makes sense of the message given. Essentially the article gives an in depth view on communication starting with the definition of communication, forms of communication, communication process, barriers to ommunication, communication in the workplace and communication ethics. Communication is something that relates to the nursing profession because it is an imperative part of nursing without which would make nursing virtually impossible. It is something that is also important not only for nurse to communicate with other nursing staff but also with nurse to patient communication as the patient can convey their needs and or issues as well as pain. It is also a core part of the nursing process because written communication needs to be documented regarding the patients treatment, what has been done and what drugs etc have been given and when they have been given so that other medical staff such as Doctors, physiotherapists and dietitians know what treatment is occurring and also from a legal viewpoint in that if anything does happen to a patient and their records are viewed, nursing staff, if in question can look back at documented evidence and confirm what, when and why an item was given or task carried out. Martin Hoegl, Hans Georg Gemuenden (2001)Teamwork quality and the sucess of innovative projects: a theoretical concept and empirical evidence, Organization science, pp 439-449 . Hanover, MD : Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences. The authors of this article discuss the issue of teamwork quality and success in innovative projects in which the article gives the definition of what teamwork is and how it can be measured as well as how and why teamwork is related to a innovative projects success. The article also provides a complete understanding of the concept of team collaboration which is known as Teamwork Quality (TWQ) and explains the 6 parts of the TWQ outline, communication, co-ordination, balance of member contributions, mutual support, effort and cohesion. The article also explains through the use of Table from data collected from team members, how teamwork has a positive effect on an innovative project as well as having a positive effect on team members work complacency and learning. For the profession of nursing teamwork is essential to not only provide a good working environment in which nursing staff are supported but is also of great benefit to the patient and the patient level of care. Teamwork makes life easier for both nursing staff and patient as well as promoting efficiency and initiative in nursing staff. The 6 steps in the TWQ outline are a perfect example of the essential components to good teamwork and contribution in the workplace. Without teamwork workplace morale would suffer along with worker complacency, learning and workplace environment thereby leading to an increase in stress for nursing staff whilst also having a negative effect on productivity and patient care, perhaps even increasing recovery time and or longer stays in hospital.

The Empowerment of Education for Women free essay sample

This paper deals with the desirability of educational empowerment for the woman as reflected in the works of Bronte, Austen and Wollstonecraft. This paper looks at the way in which women have achieved empowerment through education as shown through the works of Austen, Bronte and Wollstonecraft. It looks at their personal experiences as well as the experiences of women in their works. From the paper: It should not surprise us that Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte and Mary Wollstonecraft should in their works emphasize the importance of education to the women of their own generation. Each of these women themselves had personal experience with the ways in which education had widened their own horizons. And each also had knowledge of women who had not received any education and thus had the already circumscribed role allotted to women made even smaller. These three women understood from the measure of their own lives that what freedom existed for women, and what power was available to women, would come through education. How To Write A Research Proposal Guidelines And Advices - Paperell.com

How To Write A Research Proposal Guidelines And Advices How To Write A Research Proposal: Guidelines And Advices When students begin to work on a research proposal, they often do not understand what it exactly means. And sometimes, some of them cannot realize the importance of this paper. A research proposal is like a characterization of a study that is created to explore a given problem. Students usually write it to convince others that they have a big and relevant project and they also have enough knowledge and work-plan to finish it. What is its purpose? In most cases, this proposal has to be addressed the following questions: what do you plan to commit, why do you want to do it, and the way you are going to do it. You must answer these questions in your proposal regardless of what you are studying or chosen methodology. The main aim of this work is to show essential concepts. The Structure of The Research Proposal What Do You Need to KnowA general structure of such paper consists of seven sections and below we will give you a short description of each to help you see how your whole work sho uld look. Title. A title should be definitive and descriptive, and it also should give enough information about your article. You need to revisit the title after you have done the article to make sure that it is related to the topic you have chosen. Abstract. It is a short brief that is about 300 words long. It usually includes the main question of your research, the hypothesis, the background and the method of your study. You can describe the procedures, design and the instruments you are going to use and you can give some samples if you want to. Introduction. In the introduction, you need to give the background information and make a kind of framework for your investigation. With the help of it, your readers should understand the relationship between it and your research. Here you write about the purpose of your research, at this stage it can seem that it is quite similar to that in the research paper outline but keep in mind that it has some different features. While writing an i ntroduction, you need to begin with a statement. It is an essential of the construction of your proposal. You need to figure out your question or problem systematically, show the importance of your study, and you can also say something about the priority of this research in your country or a region if this problem needs to be solved. Here you provide the context for your research. Objectives. The objectives of your proposal are the main aims you need to achieve during your study, these objectives can be general and specific. A general objective is what you need to commit to your project and a specific objective usually relates to specific questions which you need to answer in your study. Variables. Now you should identify the key variables of your investigation. There can be independent, dependent, confounding, and background variables: independent variables are something like risk factor, input, characteristic or attribute. Dependent variables are the variables, which can change a result of a level of the independent variables, they are like an effect or an outcome. Confounding variables can mix the effect of the independent variables. And the background variables are about the investigations of particular groups or populations. The characteristics you use must be always clearly figured out for the main aim of your study. Questions and hypotheses. If you have enough information about the main topic you study, you can formulate the hypotheses – they can be described as a prediction or explanation about the relationship between the variables. What about a hypothesis? A hypothesis shows the prediction of the expected outcome and the depth of your knowledge, experience, and creativity. You can use a hypothesis or not use it – this matter depends on different factors like the main aim of your study, your methodology, and your audience. Methodology. The methodology is always important because it will inform the research Committee about your original p lan to handle the problem you work within your research. Like in a dissertation proposal, you should give the clear and concise information for understanding by the reader which methodology you have chosen. Thus, methodology is an important section of your work. These Tips Can Help You To Make Your Research Proposal SuccessfulHow to handle this task excellently? It won’t be simple. However, writing a brilliant proposal will not be a big problem if you follow these tips:Provide a proper context to figure out a study question;Limit the borders of your study to avoid giving excess information;Give some landmark studies examples;Present both theoretical and empirical additions by other scholars and their studies;Don’t forget to be focused on the main question of your research;Give a clear argument for your investigation;Do not give too much details, especially when you write about some minor issues and, on the contrary, give enough details about some major issues;Do not giv e too many citations and incorrect notes;Control the lengths of your article. It should not be too long or too short;Always follow the APA style. We hope these tips will be helpful for you when you prepare your research article. It is not easy, but quite real if you follow a proper structure and remember the main aim of your study.

Information Technology Term Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 5000 words

Information Technology - Term Paper Example of the future that will guide how various pieces of new technology are either successfully integrated within the scope of any given project, or are discarded as being unnecessarily and waste of resources. As you know, Magnum Enterprises has enlisted my to head the information technology management team. As such, I wish to outline my understanding of what this important role entails, and how such an effective management of new software and hardware to implemented company wide can help to facilitate a more streamlined and profitable business model in the end. Not all software and hardware is created equal. Software developers and hardware engineers, for example, do not necessarily concern themselves with the practical applications of their various inventions. Instead, they are tunnel visioned on creating the best product they can, regardless of the end user or industry that will eventually make use of them. These individuals are sorely needed in the information technology realm of the modern age, yet recent history has shown us that they are not necessarily equipped to adequately manage the effective implementation of such products with the scheme and scope that defines Magnum Enterpri ses. In fact, some software packages and hardware tools may the best available, yet be determined to be inefficient within the working organisation that we ourselves have created. As such, it will be my role to work with my team to determine the very best products on the market that will truly push us forward with maximum efficiency and productivity. In my estimation, that is the role of the information technology manager. The first task our team should accomplish is to analyze the needs and priorities that we have in each division at Magnum. We need to ensure that we understand these critical areas in order to effectively manage the software and hardware that we incorporate into these areas to meet the objectives of each respective team (Benamai, 2007). The Breakfast Club Initiative by Kelloggs Assignment

The Breakfast Club Initiative by Kelloggs - Assignment Example Brand personality is defined as the set of traits and characteristics that differentiate the brand from its competing brands (Pearce and Robinson, 2010). If there is a high threat of competitive rivalry in the market that a company operates in, then that company can develop a competitive edge for its product through brand personality. Brand personality can guide the development of a marketing mix and the communications process is conducted accordingly. Consumers are more comfortable with purchasing a specific brand if its personality is similar to their own. Therefore brand personality can increase a product’s market share. In order to face a competitive threat, a company and its products must develop positive public awareness. This objective is achieved through the development of a brand personality. A brand personality enables consumers to identify with a specific brand. Kellogg’s brand personality is defined by its multi-platform campaign to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. The internal stakeholders include Kellogg’s employees while the external stakeholders include schools, the media, parents, MPs and the public. Through various channels of communication, Kellogg’s promotes its brand personality of emphasizing the importance of breakfast to school children. Personal Responsibility Essay Example for Free

Personal Responsibility Essay Personal responsibility means that I have the discipline to put a plan together. This allows me, to create achievable goals. In order to succeed during each of my college courses. My overall success in my college courses is very important to my end goal. My end goal is to attain my degree in Psychology. The psychology degree is to be able to better work with and help children in the child protective services system. Time and stress management are the two biggest obstacles, which I must overcome. To manage my stress; I need to utilize a calendar to create a schedule. Utilizing a calendar, in which I make a schedule will not only overcome my stress and time obstacles, but also my procrastination. The utilization of a calendar will allow myself the time break down each part of my day and week, I can effectively devote time to my family, homework and working around the house by dividing up my day accordingly without wasting or losing time. Dave Ellis, author of becoming a Master Student, said it best â€Å"Time is an equal opportunity resource. All of us, regardless of gender, race, creed, or national origin, have exactly the same amount of hours in a week. No matter how famous we are, no matter how rich or poor, we get 168 hours to spend each week-no more, no less. Time is something I cannot afford to lose when it comes to my family or school and in some cases there is not a do over button I can press. Time and stress management will be the two biggest hurdles I must master for the sake of my success at the college level. Not only will must I master these hurdles for the sake of my college success but also my professional goals. My team mates must attempt to master these goals as well. As a student I will be working with teams throughout the entire time I am in college. Working in teams is a part of the fundamental, we are taught as children to work together with others to complete a task. The one way I see to succeed with a team is by creating a network of activity as outlined in chapter 8 of Project Management written by Jack R. Meredith and Samuel J. Mantel The way the authors talk about a project and are creating a network of activity which shows the activity and event relationships between the tasks in a project. This shows what specific task each individual will undertake, who they will coordinate with and what resources they will use. It ensures that proper communication takes place and identifies when the project will be completed to include which processes will take the longest and how long each person can take without delaying the project. This will ensure that my team and I keep our personal responsibilities in perspective without failing the class and ourselves. By using this method, everyone will know what the expectations are while completing an assignment. When it comes to being a responsible student, I know that my own personal responsibility is important to how well I do in college. I have to make a plan from the start. This plan I make will include all of my long term goals as well as my short term goals. I will be able to keep my long term goals, in sight while making small changes to my short term goals to keep myself on course. I will begin my plan by using a yearly calendar for each year along with each college year. This way I can write down all of my long term goals up to graduation on the calendars. The calendars will break down into daily increments of time. I can use the days or weeks to mark down short term goals or make changes to them as I need. These calendars will also allow me to include time out of my day to devote to my family and other activities. The use of calendars and reminders will also assist in my team projects when communication is necessary I can pencil in the time I need to set aside for team work projects. The use of daily planners is will assist me beyond my college responsibility. They will also help to keep me on time for personal events with my family and court hearings for my foster children. Using calendars will keep all of my planned times with homework and other activities from bleeding over into each other. This plan of action will allow me to achieve all of my goals and keep me on course so I can complete my degree. The completion of my degree is my responsibility so that I may complete my goal to become a child psychologist. It is my personal responsibility to pay for my college classes and materials and study for the courses I take. Responsibility is essential for my success as a student, so that I do not take my education lightly and waste the time of my instructors of class mates. I must take into account that my instructor and class mates depend on my personal responsibility to attend class and complete my assignments in a timely fashion. In conclusion by taking personal responsibility of my actions in my education and professional and personal life I will become a successful individual. I will be able to complete my short term and long term goals and commitments, when taking responsibility. I can translate these small victories and experiences into college success for my class mates, team mates and myself. I must keep in mind and never forget that it is my personal responsibility to attend class and complete all my course work for my degree. Once I have the personal pride in knowing and seeing the achievements of my personal responsibility, I will be able to share this with my family. Finally, once I have passed each and every one of my college courses this will also lead to my attaining my long and short term goal and also lead to becoming a college graduate.

Loneliness in Steinbecks Of Mice and Men Essay -- essays research pap

How true is the statement "Guys like us are the loneliest guys in the world" Personally I believe that this statement is true in every aspect. Loneliness is a big part of the book "Of mice and men." The book shows loneliness in every ones life in the book. The quote says "Guys like us" George is talking about the ranch workers by saying "us" we know they are all lonely because they all show signs of loneliness, they try to fight this by making friends I think that in the book Steinbeck tries to show us that loneliness can be resolved by friendship. George blames Lennie for him being lonely ?I could get a girl, shoot some pool and stay at the cat house? George seems to be in denial as even if Lennie wasn?t there he wouldn?t be able to get all those things because of the depression 1929. Loneliness has made Crook's a very bitter and isolated man. He is truly not able to leave this situation because of his race. The other men at the ranch do not communicate with Crooks unless he is working because he is black. Other than when they are working, the other men ignore Crooks off all of their activities. Crooks is very isolated, and doesn?t seem to want any company. He has become bitter and known to lash out at people because of the loneliness that he has. Crooks's emotions are showed to the reader when he talks to Lennie in his room about having no one to relate to and communicate with. "Maybe you can see now. You got George. You know he's goin' to come back. S'pose you didn't have nobody. S'pose you couldn't go into the bunk house and play rummy `cuase you was black...A guy needs somebody--to be near him." Crooks has never been treated well by anyone because he is black. This has affected Crooks. Crooks's was shocked when... ..."I tried Aunt Clara, ma'am. I tried. I couldn't help it...I'll go right off in the hills an' I'll fin' a cave an' I'll live there so I won't be no more trouble to George." Lennie was basically in denial of his own loneliness. Loneliness has made Lennie want a better life for himself. This involves these soft items and the dream for his and George's farm. He believes at the farm he will not have to deal with all the problems that he has now. Lennie became unrealistic in many ways because of both his condition and his loneliness. Lennie most likely would have never got the farm or the soft items even if he wasn't killed, but his loneliness acts as motivation for these goals. In conclusion to this, yes I do think the statement ?Guys like us are the loneliest guys in the world? is true because loneliness is seen in all the ranch workers life?s, as I?ve just proved.

Economics, Effects of Specialization Essay

Specialization basically means when an individual or businesses produce a narrow range of products in simple words, when a person or business focuses on producing one type of product because they are good in producing that product. International exchange allows for specialization, which is when one producer produces the good that comes at the least cost of production and opportunity to him or her and then trades for those goods that come at a higher production or opportunity to him or her. The law of comparative advantage explains how people can gain from trade and specialization. Comparative advantage is defined as the ability to produce a good at a lower opportunity cost than others can produce it. Therefore, specializing gives that country a comparative advantage over others. specialization also leads to economic interdependence which is when producers in one nation depend on other to provide good and services that they do not produce. ere’s an example : lets say China produces 500 fish and 200 cheese and Canada produces 200 fish and 500 cheese , China will stop making cheese and focus on producing more fish and Canada will stop making fish and focus more on producing cheese , in the end , they will end up trading , this is economic interdepedence when another country relies on another country for a product or service. Not only does it lead to mutual gains by allowing different countries to specialize in the production of those things they do best, but it also allows them to import goods that foreign producers are willing to supply at a lower cost than domestic producers. Resources and such differ from country to country and give some countries an advantage to producing some goods over others and prove to be more profitable and advantageous to all. By allowing for international trade, countries can specialize in those goods that they can produce most economically and them offer them to consumers at a cheaper, more affordable, and more economical price. Absolute advantage is a situation in which a nation as a result of its previous experience can produce more of a good, with the same amount of resources, than another nation. till , this doesnt mean that just because one country has an absolute advantage that the countries cannot gain from international trade. countries can still gain as long as relative production costs differ. 3 reasons why International trade is necessary International trade allows countries to learn from each other and take in new ideas. international trade is needed between countries is because resources that country needs are not available everywhere. international trade is necessary is that it reduces the risk for one economy.

over the earth i come the souix uprising or 1862 essays

over the earth i come the souix uprising or 1862 essays I will admit that I am not much for reading. I will also admit after reading the first chapter in this book that I felt sick to my stomach, literally. That I feared reading the rest of the book knowing that this really happened and that people could actually do this to one another. Although the book disgusted me after the first chapter that I didnt want to read it anymore it also made me not want to put it down. It could have been the way the writer described everything made it all so vivid and clear or maybe it was the fact that it was so gruesome and real that I had to read it. Whatever the truth may be I thought it was a very good book. Up until this class I hadnt even heard of the Uprising. In my impression part of the book was the side of the Indians while part of it was the side of the white mans view. It told of how it started, where it began, when it ended and I feel as if the Indians had been changing their ways throughout the war. In the beginning they were killing anyone and everyone but, to a point, by the end of the war they were only killing the white males and were holding the women and Although I dont think the Indians needed to be hung for their crimes they shouldve been arrested and brought into jail. The white men needed to also take responsibility for their actions. It takes two people to start a fight no matter what it is about. Yes, it wasnt all of the white men who held back their annuity payment, but it was those men who insisted that they change their ways. The book was a well-researched and insightful narrative of the bloody uprising and the events which preceded it. It is another sad chapter in the history of the American West . All the shocking events took place during one week in August of 1862, in response to being tricked and betrayed by broken treaties, ...

Business, Government, and Society Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

Business, Government, and Society - Essay Example This paper seeks to describe the recently launched use of enzymatic cleantech-based approach and how the technological platform will help reduce the impact of activities that humankind carry out on the environment. Recently, a biotech company, Richcore Lifesciences released an enzymatic platform that aims to facilitate the use of clean technology in the pharmaceutical industry (Vijay 1). Commonly referred to as Ecosol, the new technological development will work to significantly reduce pollution that has been continuously associated with the effluents from pharmaceutical producing industrial units. Pharmaceutical companies normally incur significant costs in ensuring that they treat their water with trestle. In this regard, the new technology, Ecosol will save these companies over 25 percent of costs incurred in treating water using the trestle. Further, since the new technology is consumable it can easily be slotted in the process of treating waste water carried in any of the given pharmaceutical industries (Vijay 1). However, the management of these pharmaceuticals must ensure that the waste water does not contain heavy metals and fluorides since these will inhibit and/or stop enzymatic reactions (Vijay 1). The Ecosol is primarily intended for the use in the pharmaceutical industry all over the world. However, it is important to note that the companies seeking to utilize the product should deploy the necessary technologically supporting equipments and channels if only they want to achieve the needful high enzymatic reactions in their production units. This will enable the company to achieve an efficient process that significantly cost effective and highly reduces the impact of human kind on the natural environment (Burtis, Esptein and Parker 37). Additionally, the companies must invest in a Greenfield manufacturing facility that is compliant to the necessary enzymatic reactions expected in the pharmaceutical producing units. This will enable the company produ ce enzymes with significantly high value but which do not consume greater volumes. Such enzymes could also be used in manufacturing bio pharmaceuticals and the related processes involving bio transformation (Vijay 1). This new technological solution seeks to adapt several compliant features that will facilitate its application on the global market place. Such compliant issues include attaining significant patents in the related areas such as those relating to the management of waste water, design of manufacturing processes and the energy production and improvement of ethanol use in providing energy and stimulating pharmaceutical reactions as has been the case in many pharmaceutical industries for several ages now. In this regard, the clean technology product will be useful all across the globe but with focus on the pharmaceutical industry. This endeavor mainly seeks to nourish the players in the pharmaceutical industry with sufficient and efficient platform to save costs, reduce pol lution since it does not require additional heavy capital expenditure and does not work to cannibalize prevailing technologies (Burtis, Esptein and Parker 53). Therefore, it practically fits in the category of clean technology products and services. Social entrepreneurial venture Business creations with social orientations have been part of

Criminal Justice, Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2000 words

Criminal Justice, - Essay Example This is because the criminal justice system of the United States acts as a benchmark of the most developed justice system in the world making it a basic eternal model. The crime control model works efficiently within the criminal justice system by punishing crime and in the process serving as the best tool to detour the occurrence of criminal behavior. It is important to note that the due process model and the crime control model are two frameworks within the criminal justice system under conflict throughout the world for many years. Proponents of the due process model hold that nobody can deprive of life of any individual, freedom, and material wealth including property disregarding the legal processes as well as safeguards. The due process framework requires the criminal justice system to protect the rights of nay person charged with crime. However, the crime control framework for enforcing law bases on the assumption of complete reliability of facts collected by police officers and handles people arrested by the disciplined forces as guilty. In this case, the arrestees are guilty and proceed to the courts to prove their innocence. On the other hand, the due process considers the arrestees innocent and assigns the criminal justice system the responsibility of proving that they are guilty. This marks the first difference between the due process and the crime control model. The two frameworks present the most competing models within the criminal justice system and result in the ever-increasing tension bringing d isharmony and conflict presently observable within the same system. The models aim at challenging crime but insist on issuing the most appropriate justice to both the law enforcers and the arrestees. Professor Herbert, designed the due process model to make sure that people arrested and charged with crime have their rights protected and receive fair trial as well as judgment. The model insists on the
